Bank Reconciliation Questions
What does the Bank Reconciliation Agent actually automate?
The Bank Reconciliation Agent connects to your bank accounts via Basiq read-only integration, imports transactions daily, automatically matches them against your invoices and expenses, categorises unmatched transactions using AI, and flags genuine exceptions for human review. Most days you see zero exceptions — the agent handled everything.
How often does bank reconciliation run?
Daily. The agent pulls new transactions every day and reconciles them overnight. When you open XIntelliSync in the morning, your accounts are current to the previous business day. No weekly reconciliation session, no month-end crunch.
What happens to transactions the agent can't match?
Unmatched transactions are flagged in your exceptions queue with the agent's best-guess categorisation. You review only the exceptions — typically 5–10% of transactions — rather than the full transaction list. Average review time: 10–20 minutes per week.
Which plan includes the Bank Reconciliation Agent?
The Bank Reconciliation Agent is included in the Starter plan ($97/month, 50 agents). Your first month is $48.50 (50% off). No additional fees per bank account or per transaction.
Does XIntelliSync connect to Australian bank accounts?
Yes. XIntelliSync connects to all major Australian banks via Basiq read-only bank feeds — CBA, NAB, ANZ, Westpac, Macquarie, Bendigo Bank, and more. Connection is read-only. XIntelliSync cannot initiate transactions or access your banking credentials.
Can XIntelliSync reconcile multiple bank accounts and credit cards?
Yes. XIntelliSync connects to multiple bank accounts and credit cards via Basiq read-only feeds. Each account reconciles separately and feeds into consolidated reporting. No per-account fees.
What happens if my bank feed goes offline?
If a bank feed is temporarily unavailable, XIntelliSync queues the reconciliation and processes it when the feed reconnects. You are notified if a feed is offline for more than 24 hours.
How accurate is the AI categorisation?
For repeat transactions — regular suppliers, utility payments, payroll — categorisation accuracy is typically 95-99%. The agent learns your business over time. New or unusual transactions are flagged for manual review rather than guessed.
