Getting Started with XIntelliSync — Your First 7 Days
"Day 1: connect your bank. Day 7: your business runs itself."
Day 1: connect your bank. Day 7: your business runs itself. This guide walks through what to set up first, which integrations to connect, and what your dashboard should look like by the end of week one.
Day 1: Foundation
Set up the essentials:
- Complete your business profile (ABN, address, GST registration)
- Connect your bank account via Basiq for automatic transaction import
- Add your logo and customise invoice templates
- Create your first invoice — or import existing invoices from your old system
Day 2-3: Integrations
Connect your existing tools:
- Connect Xero, QuickBooks, or FreshBooks to import accounting data
- Connect Shopify or WooCommerce if you sell online
- Connect Outlook Calendar if you take appointments
- Connect Google Drive or OneDrive for document management
- Import customer data from your old CRM via CSV
Day 4-5: Automation
Activate the features that save time:
- Browse the Agent Catalog and activate 5 to 10 agents relevant to your business
- Set up 2-3 automation recipes (e.g. overdue invoice reminders, expense categorisation)
- Try voice commands — "Show me overdue invoices", "What's my cash flow?"
- Customise your dashboard with widgets that matter to your business
Day 6-7: Review
Check that everything is working:
- Review bank feed imports — are transactions categorising correctly?
- Check that imported data matches your old system
- Run a test BAS preparation if you're near a quarter end
- Set up payroll if you have employees (STP Phase 2 configuration)
- Open IntelliX and ask: "What should I focus on this week?"
