How to Set Up Automation Recipes in XIntelliSync

"The work you repeat every week is the work automation was built to kill."

Automation recipes are multi-step workflows that chain AI agents together. Instead of running agents manually, recipes trigger automatically based on events in your business — an overdue invoice, a new lead, a payroll deadline, or a stock level dropping below threshold.

Activating a Pre-Built Recipe

Navigate to Automation → Recipes to browse 150 pre-built workflows:

  • Browse by category — Finance, CRM, Operations, Compliance
  • Select a recipe and review the trigger, conditions, and actions
  • Click "Activate" to enable the recipe
  • The recipe runs automatically when its trigger condition is met

Popular Recipes to Start With

These recipes deliver immediate value:

  • Overdue Invoice Chase — auto-send reminders at 7, 14, and 30 days overdue
  • New Lead Auto-Score — score every new lead based on industry and deal size
  • BAS Deadline Prep — prepare BAS summary 14 days before each quarterly deadline
  • Low Stock Alert — notify when inventory drops below reorder point
  • Expense Auto-Categorise — categorise bank feed transactions as they import

Common Questions

What is an automation recipe?

An automation recipe is a pre-built multi-step workflow that chains AI agents together. For example: "When an invoice becomes 30 days overdue → run the Follow-Up Agent → send a reminder email → escalate to the account manager if still unpaid after 7 days."

Can I create custom recipes?

Yes. While 150 pre-built recipes are available, you can also build custom recipes by chaining agents and setting triggers, conditions, and actions.
