How to Switch from MYOB to XIntelliSync
"MYOB doesn't offer a migration API. We built around that."
MYOB was built for the pre-cloud era. It doesn't offer an API for third-party migration, but that doesn't mean you're stuck. Export your data as CSV files, import into XIntelliSync, and move on.
Migration Steps
Switching from MYOB to XIntelliSync:
- Step 1: In MYOB, export Customers, Invoices, Expenses, and Transactions as CSV files
- Step 2: In XIntelliSync, navigate to Settings → Data Import
- Step 3: Upload each CSV file and map columns using the Data Import Wizard
- Step 4: Verify imported data — check totals and record counts
- Step 5: Connect bank feeds via Basiq for ongoing transaction import
- Step 6: Configure payroll, BAS, and GST settings in XIntelliSync
- Step 7: Run parallel for 1-2 months, then switch fully
