How to Connect Your Australian Bank to XIntelliSync via Basiq

"Bank feeds are the backbone of real-time accounting. Here's how to connect yours."

Bank feeds are the backbone of real-time accounting. Without them, you're manually entering transactions or uploading CSV files from your bank every week. With Basiq-powered bank feeds, your transactions import automatically and are categorised by XIntelliSync's AI for BAS, P&L, and cash flow reporting.

Before You Connect

You'll need:

  • Your online banking credentials (Basiq connects through your bank's secure login)
  • An active XIntelliSync subscription (bank feeds are available on all plans)
  • An Australian business bank account (Basiq supports Australian banks only)

Connection Steps

Connecting your bank takes a few minutes:

  • Step 1: In XIntelliSync, go to Settings → Integrations → Bank Feeds
  • Step 2: Click "Connect Bank Account" — Basiq's secure connection widget opens
  • Step 3: Select your bank from the list of supported Australian institutions
  • Step 4: Enter your online banking credentials in Basiq's secure form
  • Step 5: Select which accounts to connect (business transaction, savings, etc.)
  • Step 6: Basiq verifies the connection and begins importing transactions

Your banking credentials are entered directly into Basiq's secure widget. XIntelliSync never sees or stores your bank login details.

After Connection

Transactions import daily and appear in your XIntelliSync bank feed. The AI categorises transactions automatically — matching them to invoices, expenses, and accounting categories. You review and approve the categorisation.

  • Transactions are automatically categorised for GST/BAS purposes
  • Bank reconciliation matches transactions to invoices and expenses
  • Cash flow reports update in real time based on bank data
  • All data is read-only — no payment capabilities through Basiq
