How to Connect Shopify to XIntelliSync for Automated Accounting

If you run a Shopify store, your eCommerce revenue and your business accounting live in separate worlds. Orders come in through Shopify. But unless someone manually exports and reconciles, your P&L, cash flow, and GST calculations never reflect your actual sales data in real time.

Connection Steps

The Shopify OAuth connection takes under 5 minutes:

• Step 1: In XIntelliSync, go to Settings → Integrations → Shopify
• Step 2: Enter your Shopify store URL (e.g. your-store.myshopify.com)
• Step 3: Click "Connect" — you'll be redirected to Shopify's OAuth authorisation page
• Step 4: Review the permissions and click "Install app"
• Step 5: XIntelliSync begins syncing orders, refunds, and revenue data

What Happens After Sync

Shopify orders and refunds import into XIntelliSync and flow directly into your financial reports:

• Revenue appears in your P&L automatically
• Refunds are properly accounted for
• GST is calculated on each order based on your tax settings
• Cash flow reflects actual Shopify payment cycles
