How to Connect QuickBooks to XIntelliSync (Step-by-Step)
"QuickBooks charges you extra for the features XIntelliSync includes. Here's how to import everything."
QuickBooks is popular globally, but its Australian compliance support — BAS, STP Phase 2, superannuation — has historically lagged behind locally-built alternatives. XIntelliSync was built in Sydney for Australian compliance from day one.
Connection Steps
The OAuth 2.0 connection process is straightforward:
- Step 1: In XIntelliSync, go to Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks
- Step 2: Click "Connect QuickBooks" — you'll be redirected to Intuit's OAuth page
- Step 3: Sign in with your Intuit/QuickBooks credentials
- Step 4: Select the company file to connect and click "Authorize"
- Step 5: XIntelliSync begins importing your data automatically
What Imports from QuickBooks
XIntelliSync imports your core accounting data:
- Invoices and credit notes
- Customer and vendor contacts
- Accounting transactions and journal entries
- Chart of accounts structure
QuickBooks Online only. Desktop users should export via CSV and use the Data Import Wizard.
